Abstract

This study is a part of longitudinal studies which are to be conducted from 2014 to 2020 which specifically aims to analyze the impact of fixed-subsidy policy in fuel price on the livelihood of poor women, based on the five work themes of MAMPU namely access to social protection, employment, women migrant workers, maternal and reproductive health, and violence against women (specifically domestic violence). By studying the livelihood of poor women in five districts in Indonesia (Deli Serdang, Cilacap, Timor Tengah Selatan, Kubu Raya, and Pangkajene and Kepulauan), this study obtains thorough understanding regarding the impact of changes in fuel subsidy policy on the dynamics of poor women’s livelihood in relation to the five themes.
