Titie holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and development studies from Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB).
Titie is a qualitative researcher. Her main research interests include village-based and community-based development and empowerment, education, health, poverty, and inequality. She is responsible for conducting the entire research process, namely developing research design and instruments, collecting and analyzing data, and writing research reports.
Titie started her career in SMERU as a regional researcher. At that time she was involved in two research projects, namely Teacher Absenteeism in Indonesia (2014) and Qualitative Study of Proliferation and Integration of Community Empowerment Programs in Central Java, West Nusa Tenggara and South Sulawesi. Before joining SMERU, Titie worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Development of Economics and Finance (INDEF) and Pusat Sosial Ekonomi dan Kebijakan Pertanian (PSEKP), Ministry of Agriculture.
