Murni got her bachelor’s degree in economis from Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia.
Murni is a junior quantitative researcher. She is responsible with developing research instruments, collecting data, processing primary and secondary data, and compiling supporting analyzes and study findings.
Prior to joining SMERU, Murni was a data analyst in the Monitoring and Evaluation Unit of the National Team for the Acceleration of Poverty Reduction (TNP2K), a cross-ministerial/institutional coordination team for implementing poverty alleviation programs and research assistants at the World Bank on the Macro Trade Investment (MTI) team.
In 2018, Murni was awarded the Best Student Award from Airlangga University. During her studies, she received a Bidik Misi scholarship from the Directorate General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia.
