SMERU is one of the best institutions focusing on poverty and inequality. At that time, I hoped to learn from the great researchers at SMERU. I have gained a lot of knowledge from SMERU. Often, when I review the work of other researchers or seek advice from them, I feel enlightened. I still apply much of the knowledge I gained from SMERU in my current daily work.
