The Family of Hope Program (PKH) is one of the government’s flagship programs in its effort to reduce poverty. PKH is expected to play a role in improving the quality of human resources and have a positive impact on the economic condition of the program’s beneficiaries. The dynamics of the implementation of PKH every year have provided us with lessons with regard to its impact on poverty and inequality, including the opportunities to strengthen the livelihood of the family of the beneficiaries. Moreover, it would be very interesting to find out what the government’s plans are in the future regarding this program. The seminar discussed the impact of PKH on poverty and inequality, the dynamics of PKH implementation, and complementary policies needed so that PKH would be more successful in the future.
