Hesti is SMERU’s senior program manager whose primary role is to oversee the organization’s large and multi-year projects. This includes carrying out large-value contracts and subcontracts from various development partners. Specifically, she leads and executes project financial management and compliance, encompassing budget planning, negotiation, forecasting, execution, and monitoring.

She is also responsible for financial reporting in various formats and templates, as well as assisting with project audits conducted by independent auditors or donors. Furthermore, she ensures that SMERU maintains updated manuals and standard operating procedures, especially in finance, to align with the standards of its development partners. 

Hesti started her career at SMERU as an accounting and finance officer. Before joining SMERU, Hesti worked as an asset management officer at ACTEW Corporation in Canberra, Australia.
