About 

Dhania edits SMERU’s Indonesian and English publications for language accuracy, style, and readability, and recommends changes where necessary. She ensures that the documents are of high quality in terms of language. Dhania also translates the documents from Indonesian into English and vice versa.

Dhania also coordinates with SMERU researchers and other SMERU staff members during the preparation of draft translations or edited materials as well as provides input concerning content. She also facilitates language improvement of SMERU researchers and other staff members through internal training sessions.

Before joining SMERU, Dhania was a culture journalist for The Jakarta Globe, an English-language online news portal. Her experience includes covering prestigious international events, such as Singapore Media Festival 2017 and International Transport Forum (ITF) 2018 in Leipzig, Germany. Her writings have also appeared in GlobeAsia Magazine, the print edition of Manual Jakarta, and the official website of Intersastra. During her studies at KDI School, Dhania made the dean’s list (> 3.80 GPA) twice.
