Harits is a junior communication officer at The SMERU Research Institute who is responsible for the design, production, and publication of SMERU’s multimedia content in the form of creative audio and visuals. He also manages the content of the SMERU website and disseminates the results of SMERU’s research on various social media platforms. In addition, he plays a role in developing promotional and media strategies to raise SMERU’s profile at both the national and international levels.

Prior to joining SMERU, Harits was an intern at Lembaga Rujak Center for Urban Studies. He worked as an urban planning research assistant who was responsible for producing spatial analyses as well as conducting field surveys and documentation.
