Prio specializes in public policy and governance research, especially within the field of poverty alleviation programs and social development policies. His research includes improvement of students’ learning outcomes, urban poverty reduction, development of 2012–2015 Master Plan of Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesia Poverty Reduction (MP3KI), and Poverty and Vulnerability Mainstreaming Toolkit.
