Rini obtained her master’s degree in inter-Asia NGO studies from South Korea’s SungKongHoe University and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta.

Rini is responsible for managing the administrative aspect of all SMERU’s programs, from core-funding projects, multi-year projects, to small incidental projects. She prepares supporting documents to program proposals for submission to funding agencies.

Rini also plays a key role in the development of regular program reports required by funding agencies and development partners. Additionally, she assists with the development of the monitoring and evaluation system for SMERU’s projects. Rini also carries out other tasks requested by the managers.

Prior to joining SMERU, she was the program development coordinator at Transformasi untuk Keadilan (TuK) Indonesia, a local NGO focusing on environment issues.
