This issue of our newsletter reports on several recent investigations by SMERU researchers on the pros and cons of a signifi cant reduction or the complete removal of fuel subsidies.
The findings of this study indicate that implementation of the programs was plagued by problems of targeting beneficiaries and delivering benefits to intended target groups.
