SMERU’s initiation to provide research-based evidence to this policy discourse is also motivated by direct communication with several e-commerce companies that approach SMERU for commissioning study on measuring the social impact of their operations, as well as interaction with various startup companies.

The objective of this study is to develop concrete recommendations on suitable livelihood opportunities for PKH recipient families, as well as the institutional arrangements and delivery systems to ensure PKH families can access these opportunities.
This research project aims to inform the study of vulnerability for poor and near-poor women in LPG subsidy reform by examining the status of existing data relevant to energy use and gender in Indonesia.

The study uncovered that the initial stages of PKKPM implementation went smoothly (from March- May 2015), including central-regional socialization, training of facilitators, and the formation of collectives.
