Update Program RISE di Indonesia

On 3 July 2018 the RISE Program in Indonesia (RISE), in cooperation with the Research and Development Board of the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture (Balitbang Kemdikbud), held a Seminar on "RISE Update Program in Indonesia" at the Graha 1 Meeting Room, Building A, 2nd Floor, Ministry of Education and Culture Office, Jl. Jenderal Sudirman, Senayan, Central Jakarta.

Attended by Totok Suprayitno, Ph.D (Head of Balitbang Kemdikbud) and Dr. Ferdiansyah (Member of Commission X, House of Representatives), the seminar aims to convey the latest developments regarding the implementation of RISE to the stakeholders.

The event was attended by 70 participants, consisting of staff members of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, practitioners, and experts on educational issues.

On the occasion, Dr. Daniel Suryadarma, Deputy Team Leader of RISE Programme in Indonesia presented the Indonesian Learning Profile which shows that the students' learning level between 2000 and 2014 has decreased. The Learning Profile was compiled using data from the Indonesia Family Life Survey (IFLS) 2000, 2007, and 2014.
