RISE Programme in Indonesia, which started in 2017, is committed to actively participating in the Indonesian education system reform agenda, which is also an agenda for improving learning outcomes. Through its five-year research activities, RISE Programme in Indonesia will identify various problems in the Indonesian education system and encourage changes in the components of the education system to realise improvements in student learning outcomes.
To inform the progress of the implementation and initial findings of RISE Programme in Indonesia's research to education stakeholders, The SMERU Research Institute will hold a discussion titled "RISE Programme in Indonesia: Facing the Challenges of Education in Indonesia." The event is organised to encourage collaborative efforts between RISE Programme in Indonesia and other institutions engaged in the education sector, especially non-governmental organisations.
