Nawala SMERU July/XIX/2024

Jakarta has frequently been identified as one of the cities with the most severe air pollution problems. SMERU, in partnership with international experts, is conducting research on how Jakarta residents protect their families from the negative impacts of air pollution.

To celebrate National Children's Day on 23 July, we recommend eight digital posters that summarize eight SMERU studies on child wellbeing, viewed through the lens of children themselves. These studies aim to encourage policymakers to listen to children's voices in policymaking. For further reading, we suggest a journal article that presents research findings on the impact of minimum wage policies on poverty reduction.

Want to know how to measure the impact of your program? Join SMERU Learning Centre's 6th cohort of the Introduction to Impact Evaluation training this August. This training will equip participants with the skills to measure the effectiveness of a program and identify ways to enhance its success. Register today to secure your spot!

We are grateful for your continued support.
