Faculty of Sharia and Research Institute & Community Services, The State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Imam Bonjol Padang invited four researchers from The SMERU Research Institute to provide a short course on the stages of research process.
The SMERU Research Institute underwent three critical transitions during 2014. First, the direct support from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to SMERU was formally transferred to one of its programs, the Knowledge Sector Initiative (KSI).
The director of The SMERU Research Institute, Dr. Asep Suryahadi, was invited to be a guest lecturer at a social policy short course organized by School of Social and Political Science, The University of Melbourne, in collaboration with the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Indonesia.
