Our Expertise
Indonesia’s current digital economy is not inclusive due to many issues. Firstly, the internet and its supporting infrastructure have not been evenly distributed in rural areas, particularly the disadvantaged, frontier, and outermost (3T) regions.
The SMERU Research Institute (SMERU)–a member of The Think20 (T20) for G20, partnering with Global Summit Solutions (GSS), will organize a webinar that aims to bridge the divide between developing and developed countries in the conversation on the future of work.
The project aims at developing a grand design, a plan of action, a business process, and standard operating procedure (SOP) for developing regional DTKS.
The partnership between SMERU, as a knowledge producer, and UNICEF, which is focused on child rights advocacy, is expected to provide a stronger and more effective advocacy base for improving child well-being in Indonesia.
