Fandi obtained his master’s degree in economics from Universitas Indonesia and his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung.
He is a quantitative researcher. He is responsible for collecting primary and secondary data, and analyzing data, especially large numerical datasets, and is involved in all stages of the research process. Fandi’s main research interest is applied microeconomics, especially in the contexts of development economics, behavioral economics, and health economics.
Prior to joining SMERU, he was a research assistant for the Bank Indonesia (BI) Institute.
