SMERU actively disseminates the results of its research through various events. Apart from being a manifestation of our responsibility as a research institution, the research dissemination events are a means of introducing SMERU's research results to a wide audience, including policymakers.
In this SMERU Newsletter edition, we present a summary of June 2023 Forum Kajian Pembangunan (FKP). FKP is a forum to discuss the latest development policy issues in Indonesia. SMERU hosted FKP last June to present research findings on the protection of gig workers, support for youth, local educational innovations, and support for small- and medium-scale enterprises.
In addition, you can read about SMERU's latest research on the long-term effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on businesses, SMERU's longitudinal study on the impact of the road improvement program in the eastern part of Indonesia, and an article in Kompas Daily regarding the evaluation of the poverty line in Indonesia which quotes a SMERU researcher.
Thank you for your support in joining our research journey. We hope that the information we present in this SMERU Newsletter will be of use to you.
