The revelation of cases of budget misappropriation in some regions demonstrates that Village Law supravillage supervisory practices experience shortcomings.
This report describes the result of the qualitative socioeconomic monitoring conducted by The SMERU Research Institute toward the EINRIP road improvement in Kabupaten Bulukumba and Kabupaten Sinjai in the South of Sulawesi.
In general, the aim of this study is to identify possible impacts of the Conditional Cash Transfer program (PKH) with Child Labor support component.

Law No. 6/2014 on Villages (Village Law) provides opportunities for village governments to cater to the needs of the community. The kecamatan, being a part of the kabupaten government which have been carrying out the mandate for decentralization, is integral to Village Law implementation. Unfortunately, the involvement of the kecamatan has not been well regulated.
