Although important, financial aid will not achieve the sustainable eradication of poverty and inequality or sustainable inclusive growth. For this to happen, the Global South needs to “grow out” of poverty, which requires context-specific and tailor-made development programs, better access to finance, and access to jobs.

This study assess the scarring impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on investments (physical capital) and human capital demand in the labor market.

MSMEs are often considered the backbone of Indonesia's economy due to their contribution, which reaches 60.51% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Out of approximately 64 million MSMEs, around 98.7% are micro-scale enterprises, while the rest are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
