Dita is a skilled public health researcher with extensive expertise in maternal and child health, infectious disease epidemiology, and nutrition. She is proficient in designing and conducting research projects, with a strong background in data collection, survey design, and quantitative analysis using Stata. Her work centers on monitoring and evaluating public health programs, with a particular focus on improving health outcomes and advancing health equity for underserved populations, especially children.
As a quantitative researcher, Dita has substantial experience supervising surveys for various public health and social research projects, managing enumerator teams, and ensuring the integrity of data collection processes. She also handles data cleaning and analysis, translating research findings into actionable policies and impactful publications that contribute to public health improvements.
Prior to joining SMERU, Dita was actively involved in numerous research projects related to mental health and environmental health. She also served as a teaching assistant in the Epidemiology Department at the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia. During her master's studies, Dita worked as a research assistant at the School of Public Health, University of New South Wales, further sharpening her research expertise and academic foundation.
