As we await the final vote-counting results by the General Election Commission, you can explore two blog articles authored by SMERU researchers. These articles examine the visions and missions of presidential candidates on health and youth and employment, including their responses from the final debate.
We also offer some insights into the student loan issue that was widely discussed some time ago. You can read an article about it that cites a SMERU study, or dive straight into our working paper that simulated income-contingent loans for students.
In addition, SMERU is conducting a study on local civil society organizations (CSOs) in Indonesia. We encourage you, representatives of local CSOs, to fill out our survey and voice the current challenges and needs of CSOs. The findings of this study will serve as a basis for strengthening the capacity of local CSOs.
If you're interested in learning how to gauge the impact of programs your institution implements, we invite you to join the Impact Evaluation Training hosted by SMERU Learning Centre on 20–21 March (form.smeru.or.id/ted5-register). Registration closes on 10 March.
We are grateful for your support of Nawala SMERU.
