On October 2018, the SMERU Research Institute hosted Forum Kajian Pembangunan (FKP) Seminar Series. FKP is a consortium consisting of various institutions in Indonesia, in collaboration with the Indonesia Project, holds a series of research based policy forums discussing research outcomes related to topical policy issues in Indonesia. These forums were free and open to the public.
RISE Programme in Indonesia, which started in 2017, is committed to actively participating in the Indonesian education system reform agenda, which is also an agenda for improving learning outcomes.

The SMERU Research Institute played an active role in the Indonesia Development Forum (IDF) 2018. IDF is a platform for national dialogue that brings together leaders in government, civil society, academia, and the private sector to discuss solutions to Indonesia’s key development challenges.
