This policy brief aims to support dialogue between policy makers on suitable policy orientations regarding children’s well-being in Indonesia. There is growing knowledge that children experience poverty and deprivation differently from adults: they have needs and rights to be fulfilled. However, in reality, there are still vulnerabilities and a lack of options when it comes to realizing their rights.
The Landscape Analysis on Children with Disabilities marks a significant step as the first analytical report about children with disabilities in Indonesia. It contributes substantially to the knowledge and data landscape in the country, shedding light on the challenges faced by some of the most vulnerable children and the factors contributing to their daily struggles.

By June 2023, Indonesia had over 6.81 million cases and 161,857 deaths.
